San Diego's Up and Coming DJs Take on Virtual Horizon Festival (Saturday, 8/22)

Whether you’re a loyal woog at Lightning in a Bottle or a headbnger at Lost Lands, we’ve all got our go to festivals with the most stacked lineups - you know, those lineups that make your heart sink to the point where you have to instantly DM your whole squad “We HAVE to get tickets now.” Everyone has their favorite big named DJs that they’ve been dying to see, but you know what never gets old? Finding NEW undiscovered talent. I’m talking fresh, local prodigies shredding the decks and bringing unique tracks to the table. Now, THAT is who you wanna be on the lookout for. 

Virtual festivals have been a whole new ballgame and I know most of us miss getting ~weird~ on the dancefloor but c’mon there are some pretty sweet perks of livestreams. Brew in hand, dancing with your quaranteam, and the best part of all?... TRACK IDS. Speaking of virtual festivals, we’ve got some of our special fam members on the lineup of Virtual Horizon Festival being put on by local San Diego DJ Garrett McCaughley, a.k.a. Carrott, on EDM Identity’s Twitch. We’ve also got Dante’s Inferno B2b Wilhelm, Drew Dapps, Malicious, Mayko and many other talented individuals ready to bring yall some sick sets ranging from free form bass to thumpin’ tech house. Pro Systems Audio Visual will be running the production of the event so expect to be blown away! The whole purpose of this event is for these local DJs to showcase who they are as artists so you know what that means… original tracks baby! The stream will be donating all proceeds to the Musician’s Foundation in an attempt to help artists struggling during quarantine.
